keeping you connected to recovery
Providing outpatient services to women in Orange County, CA.
Addiction is a growing disease throughout the United States. Typically, addiction can range from alcohol abuse to a variety of other substances including illicit and prescription medication. Addiction is classified as a progressive illness that will become more dangerous as use continues, and without intervention or treatment, the results can be dealy.
Most times people seek treatment in the form of inpatient treatment, much like ours at Newport Beach Recovery Center, and while inpatient treatment is the preferred method of treatment, there are those who cannot attend inpatient treatment due to life’s daily obligations. That is where an outpatient program can come in. There are also those who complete their inpatient stay, and who are recommended to attend an outpatient program for continued treatment. In either situation, outpatient treatment provides a continued source of support and education for those in early recovery.

Why is Outpatient Suggested After Rehab?
Typically, an outpatient or intensive outpatient program is suggested following a successful stay at rehab in order to provide the best possible outcomes in long-term recovery. While in rehab, patients learn how to fight cravings and what environments to avoid in order to avoid triggers that could lead to relapse. After rehab is completed, clients re-enter society as newly sober people who have to rely on the tools they learned to help them avoid relapse. Outpatient treatment aides a person in early recovery by providing them with a continued routine of therapy and process groups that provides continued support to those re-learning how to live life without drugs or alcohol.

Outpatient Treatment Options at Newport Beach Recovery Center
Newport Beach Recovery Center offers outpatient programs that continue the therapies experienced by patients in rehab and allows clients to monitor their sobriety on a week to week basis. We offer intensive outpatient or IOP as it is commonly known and outpatient treatment which utilizes the same therapies as our residential program in an outpatient setting.
There are two options available, one that is extended from the inpatient treatment program and a second that is an intensive outpatient program for women who are not able to commit to inpatient treatment.
Intensive outpatient treatment provides clients with the ability to return to their daily lives and families, while still maintaining a sober lifestyle. Like the inpatient treatment, family and group therapies are available to build support for each client as they continue to re-enter society as a sober person. If a person is unable to attend our inpatient program, Newport Beach Recovery Center provides our intensive outpatient program and gives them the same access to therapies and treatments that the inpatient clients have.
We understand that life obligations to family and jobs may prevent some women from seeking traditional inpatient, so our facility offers a flexible option that allows women to come into the facility around their schedule and receive treatment while continuing their daily lives. Around the clock, resources are available for these women as well as a safe place to attend when they find themselves in an environment that can trigger their addiction.

When we release our patients, we intend for them to continue their success in an environment that will promote sobriety and success for these alumni.
Should any alumni of our facility find themselves in relapse or in danger of relapse, they are welcome to reach out to our facility.
